Philipians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
I’m thankful that I don’t have to figure everything out. That doesn’t mean it’s all smooth sailing, but it does mean that God’s in control and I can rest in that assurance!

I’m thankful for pen & paper. I’ve written about my journals several times.
When I was younger I always doodled & had little notebooks but I think my journaling really took off when I started writing out my prayers. I have prayer journals full of requests from friends, full of gratitudes, pleas, and heart wrenching fears. It became easier and easier to open up to The Lord as I wrote.
I’ll share some more journal pages ~
Thankful for being right here right now~ in the classroom, in scripture with young teens, on walks with a dear friend & picking up fallen leaves.
Thankful to be content & praying for God’s guidance with each step.
Happy Easter friends! He is Risen, alleluia!
This Holy Week flew by. We cooked and cleaned and ran errands and attended services…..
The cross has been carried all through the circle, the candle a nub, the devotions to finish tonight. I’m not ready for that to end though, I have loved family devotions. We do have 10:00 stop but it’s been really nice to take a few minutes at the end of our day as well
Thursday afternoon I leave for a three day retreat where I will be a song leader. Preparing for this has been challenging for me. I love playing guitar & singing but I’m not too confident as a leader. This is our theme verse:
Interesting eh, that I feel so ill equipped, but in these words I’m promised the door will stay open for me. Love that!
I will be spending Thursday night in silence & prayer and I would like to offer to pray for anyone who would like me to. You can leave a comment here or email me at hsmom2luge at yahoo dot com
Really anytime- not just this week.
Blessings to you all this Eastertide!
